The men’s basketball team capitalized on their scorching second-half shooting from downtown (7-19, 36%) to defeat The College Of New Jersey (TCNJ), 71-53. First-year goaltender Mike Jackson led his team with 18 points, a season high for him.
The women’s basketball team followed that up with a 53-39 victory over the TCNJ Lions with junior guard Nickie Carter leading with 19 points and freshman hitter Olivia Vero recording five blocks in a small-ball performance. groups.
