“Save America Rally” organized in Riverton on Saturday
(Riverton, Wyoming) – On October 30, despite cold and humid weather, around 20 people gathered at the invitation of the Fremont Wyoming County Republican Party to advocate for various causes designed to address current concerns, according to a press release .
The Save America rally was organized by Lori Webber and Party President Ginger Bennett. The event did not have a fixed agenda but was intended to provide a public forum for county residents to meet and exchange ideas and information.
“The idea behind this event,” Ginger explained, “is to connect like-minded people so they can share ideas and develop action plans to save America. My goal is to do so. bring out two thematic meetings: electoral integrity and educational freedom. ”
One group the event attracted was the Wildwood Homeschool Cooperative. The leader of this group, Sandy Wilder, explained the reason for her participation: “I am here to promote home schooling to free our children from formal education. “
Author Vernis Tromble has set up a table to distribute literature and promote his book, Old Chas And the Democrats.
“I am here because I want to see the ideals of the (Republican) party encompass life, freedom and prosperity,” Vernis said. “Today, I want to defend these ideals through my words, my writings and other related works.”
Many people passing or crossing the park have shown their support for the event with friendly horns and waves, the press release continued. Others stopped to talk to attendees and pick up literature from the display tables.
Visitor Tina Clifford noticed and replied, “I am delighted to see people supporting this event and taking action to right the dangerously streamlined state ship, to bring America back to good principles. Things have gotten very twisted and at odds with the intention of our founding fathers. People know they need to do more than talk about the situation and want to do something about it. But they don’t know what can be done in practical terms. I hope that ideas and good leadership will come out of this event.
Organizer Lori Webber echoed these thoughts as she explained her motives: “I felt social conservatives are being unfairly censored on social media and I want to provide them with a platform for networking. As a member of the precinct committee, I see that the typical person wants to be active, but doesn’t know how to make their efforts effective. I want to bring these people together with party leaders and professionals to give them the knowledge and tools to make a difference. “
Karl Falken, president of the Wind River section of the Sons of the American Revolution, set up an information table to promote this and other patriotic heritage societies.
